Federal claims are consolidated in multidistrict litigation MDL No. 3047 in the Northern District of California. Related California state court claims are coordinated as JCCP 5255.
In 2023 the U.S. Surgeon General issued an advisory on social media and youth mental health, stating there are ample indicators that social media can have a profound risk of harm to the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents.
