This Privacy Policy describes how Legal Wisdom ("LegalWisdom", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and sells personal information when you visit lawsuit.legalwisdom.com or submit a case review request. LegalWisdom is a legal advertising and marketing service. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you complete our case review form we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and state of residence. We also collect the answers you give in our questionnaire, which may include information about your use of certain medications and your medical diagnosis history. You provide this information voluntarily so that participating law firms can evaluate whether you may have a potential legal claim.
Consent records. When you submit the form we record the date and time of your submission, the consent language you agreed to, your IP address, your device and browser information, and an independent certificate of your form submission provided by ActiveProspect TrustedForm. We keep these records to document your consent to be contacted.
Information collected automatically. We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your device and your use of the site, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and advertising identifiers. This includes the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, which we use to measure and improve our advertising.
Sensitive Information
Some questionnaire answers may be considered sensitive personal information under certain state laws because they relate to health. We collect this information only to determine whether a participating law firm may be able to review your potential claim, and we handle it as required by applicable law. Where the law gives you a right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, you can exercise that right through the contact methods below.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to: connect you with one or more participating law firms or their intake providers for the free case review you requested; contact you about your request; document and verify your consent to be contacted; operate, secure, and improve the site; measure and improve our advertising; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
How We Share and Sell Personal Information
We share and sell personal information in the following ways:
Participating law firms and intake providers. When you submit a case review request, we transfer your contact details and questionnaire answers to one or more participating law firms or their intake service providers, who pay to participate in this advertising. This transfer may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law and similar state laws. You can opt out at any time as described in the section Your Privacy Rights and on our Do Not Sell or Share page.
Service providers. We use vendors that host the site, manage and deliver leads, verify phone numbers, document consent (ActiveProspect TrustedForm), and provide analytics and advertising measurement (including Meta). These vendors may process personal information only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose personal information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of LegalWisdom, our users, or others, and in connection with a merger, sale, or other business transfer.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18, and this site is not directed to anyone under 18.
Cookies and Advertising
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. To learn how Meta uses data received through the Meta Pixel, visit the Meta Privacy Center. Our site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt out of sale and sharing where required by law.
Consent to Contact and How to Revoke It
By submitting the form with the consent box checked, you provide express written consent to be contacted by LegalWisdom and one or more participating law firms or their agents, as described in the consent language on the form. You may revoke this consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, by asking the caller to stop contacting you, or by emailing privacy@legalwisdom.com. Revoking consent does not affect the lawfulness of contact that occurred before revocation.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. We retain consent records, including TrustedForm certificates, for at least five years to document compliance with telemarketing laws, or longer where required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: know and access the personal information we hold about you; request deletion; request correction; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; opt out of targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

We will verify your request using the information you provide, typically by matching your name, email, and phone number against our records. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we may require proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
